Find out About Replacement Parts
The last thing you want to think about when you buy a new shaver is replacement parts, but we think you should.
Occasional maintenance on your shaver can make it last so much longer, so we suggest that you find out how much replacement heads cost and if they’re easy to come by. If you use the razor regularly, then you’ll probably need to replace them every 12 months or so. Occasional shavers can probably get by for 18 months or so.
Price
If you want a decent shaver that won’t let you down after just a few months of use, then set your budget minimum at around $60. You could spend less, but from experience, it’s better to spend a bit more initially on something that lasts rather than spending less and having to replace it sooner.
Higher-end models with all the bells and whistles will run $170 and up, but if you don’t need the features, then it’s pointless to spend that much.

Pros:

Cons:
- Cleaning station is a bit bulky
- Maintenance is pricy

Pros:

- Provides a very comfortable shave.
Cons:
- A bit noisier than some shavers
This is another one that you can use both wet and dry. It features the pivot, flex and float system, which contours to the face and helps pick up more hairs as you pass over. This is why most men like it. It’s comfortable!
Better than entry-level and not top-of-the-line. Great for occasional and regular shaving.
3. Philips Norelco 2100
Pros:
- Pop-up trimmer
- 4 direction flex heads
- Washable head
Cons:
- Only 35 minutes cordless use time
This is probably the best rotary shaver at the entry-level. It has everything your basic shaver needs (pop-up trimmer, protection cap, cord) and it features their close-cut blades that provide you with a smooth, comfortable shave.
